How to collect money with PlayrSite Payments (no league or team required)

How do I take card payments from families or members without building a whole league first?

When you only need to get paid

Sometimes you are not ready to run registrations, rosters, and schedules—you just need to collect dues, a camp fee, or a one-time payment with a paper trail.

Spreadsheets and peer-to-peer apps make reconciliation painful. You want a hosted checkout, clear amounts, and receipts without standing up an entire sports program in the product first.

What PlayrSite Payments is for

PlayrSite Payments is designed so you can start with card checkout and collections. You define what people owe, share a link, and payers complete checkout in the browser.

When you later add a league or team on PlayrSite, your payment workflows can connect to that structure—but they do not depend on it on day one.

What to do in the product

Create a PlayrSite account through the Payments path and complete any onboarding needed to accept card payments (including connecting a payout account when prompted).

Create a payment collection: give it a clear name, add line items or amounts so payers see exactly what they are buying, and publish when you are ready.

Copy the public payment link and share it by email, text, or your existing website. Monitor who has paid from your dashboard, and let payers receive email receipts automatically after checkout.

After you outgrow a single link

When your group formalizes into a league or team, you can layer registrations, rosters, and team fee plans on top of the same account—so you are not migrating tools mid-season.
